the things that only happen to me.
i lost my pencil case on sunday. sounds so juvenile, doesn't it. so primary school. and with my pencil case went my keychain, the one that spells 3/4 of my name. and ALL my pretty coloured pens. and my ubercool pencil whose lead has 7 colours. my life is colourless now. it's amazing how much attachment one can have towards their possessions, esp pencil cases. i mean. who would have thought? most often the things people lose are HP and wallets, and of course that hurts a lot. but so does losing your pencil case. and it had a lot of sentimental value. it was a bday present. sigh.
(note: i do not want another pencil case for my bday, thank you very much. i'd have gotten myself another one by then.)
i was packing my stuff on sunday night and found V's stapler was with me. and out of habit i thought, "i should put that into my pencil case" and a split second later, i realised with a pang, i don't have my pencil case any longer. it's really weird. and i had a dream in which someone told me where my pencil case was. if only dreams come true.
ok. i think i should stop waxing lyrical about my pencil case. or a sarah-esque person will haul me up for psychiatric help. (sarah a la size 12 is not fat).
and THEN. this morning, just as i was ready to leave, i wanted to put on my lanyard, and it's there... but hanging from it was just my thumbdrive. my ID card was MISSING! and i went into hyperpanicmode. duh. that's what i'm famous for. so i was sitting there, eating my cereal, getting extremely delayed for class, when i decided this is probably a GOOD thing, now i can actually use this excuse to get a new ID card with a BETTER PICTURE.
then in the middle of the lecture, S turned around and waved my ID card at me. i was like. ohthankGod. afterwards she told me the B guards gave it to her. and i was like. huh? how'd they get it. then i realised. it must've fallen when i was in front of B.
and get this. it was kind of damaged. the kiap (haha mai!) was totally flattened and it's pretty unusable as a kiap. cos it can't kiap any longer. (i'm sure there's a proper english word for kiap, but i don't know it, period.) and the card itself had strange depressions in it. and S said she thought it had been run over by a car. hahaha. yes, i think so too.
everything happens for the best, no? life is full of small miracles, in nushy's words. i thought of getting it replaced with a card with a BETTER PICTURE but. the damage is, unfortunately, not that severe. obviously life's miracles are not big enough. no matter, i shall ask one of my car-owning friends to drive over it. again and again.
the things people do for vanity.

coolness! now we can blog in hindi! like, how cool is that!
but i don't think i'm gonna be doing that anytime soon because the last time i wrote something other than my name in hindi was on someone's birthday card and... basically, he couldn't read a thing of what i had written. good thing i wrote "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" in english. cos that's what matters most on your birthday right?
so baby, time's getting a little crazy ......
yesterday i put my foot into my mouth. pretty majorly. even though my foot is big and my mouth is small, literally. *cringes* but i think it'll be ok. anyway.
IDIOT i miss you so much!
it's great when you make someone's monday =)
today the escalators were working. like, WOW. OMG. THAT'S AMAZING. IN JUST A SHORT TIME. it's about time man. but they'll stop working after wednesday. they are only working these 3 days cos of the VVVVVVVIPs. suckups. so the escalators work on 4 days a year.
1) open day
2, 3, 4) the 3 days that the VVVVVVVVIPs come to visit.
it was a great weekend.
why do all good things come to an end?
