meow. that was my sound.
well, it's old news now, but i have to say it here. rafa didn't win wimbledon. no matter, there's always next year. roger really played excellent tennis, much as i hate to admit. the commentator was saying about roger and rafa's relationship: " great friends, great enemies, the best tennis players in the world" or something like that. it's really interesting, how they have such tremendous amount of respect for each other and bring out the best tennis in each other. when they play with other people, they show sparks of genius. but against each other, it's genius from beginning to end.
goodness, i cant believe they're showing anger management on tv. it's full of worse-than-frat-boy humour. plus, there's jack nicholson. need i say more?
the curious incident of the dog in the night-time.

it makes me rethink. correction, it makes me re-rethink.
i think the only people supporting rafa today are the group of hardcore rafa fans (incl choo & me), rafa's family and rafa himself. duh, right? but what i'm trying to say here is that those people who watch without favourites or anyone to support, those people who watch because they simply like to watch the game, even those people would probably be supporting the guy playing his last at SW 19.
why? (most) people have the tendency to feel pity, like, oh poor thing, he's going to retire at the end of the year, he should get to go out with his head held high, he should go out when he was on top, etc etc. but he probably doesn't want pity. people usually don't want pity. in this case though, it would gain him some sympathy supporters.
whoever the loser is tonight, it will be very very very very sad. but that's how life is, isn't it? you can't wish and pray that the world will end, that the whole kalyug thing is actually true, TONIGHT. well, u can wish and pray, but what are the odds that the world will end tonight, before there is a winner and hence, a loser?
in utopia, there would be no losers. and hence, there would be no winners. because u can't call a person a winner unless there's a loser (the word is nicely substituted by runner-up in some contests, think ms world, ms universe, ms any-country-in-the-free-world). so it wouldn't be utopia after all, would it?
when i think about the i-dont-even-want-to-think-about-how-long thing, the way things have unfolded have absolutely stenciled my belief in karma in stone.
