this just in. if u want to grow tall, start skipping (the kind u do with a skipping rope). i read it in a book. but no results guaranteed. cos u might be too old to grow anymore.

me: contemplates lying, but then tells the truth

woman: oh i have a sis who's 2 yrs older than u. gg to graduate already..

me: smile, er, ok..

(train comes)

woman: u waiting for the other train ah?

me: er no waiting for a friend

woman: oh ok i go first ah

me: er, ok, bye.

case 2: in the bus

i'm sitting there, minding my business.. and this man comes and sits next to me. and then pulls out his lighter. i'm thinkin, oh no i hope he isn't thinking of smoking. i don't need to inhale passive smoke. instead, he just gets a fire going and.. watches it. and when it goes off, he relights it and.. watches it. now i'm thinkin, oh no i hope he isn't thinking of scorching this place!

since i'm typing this, obviously he didn't try to pull some life-endangering stunt. but.. er..

that gives a new definition to

i know coach is reading this so i shall not say anything which will earn me extra rounds next sat. haha, kidding. yday's first half was not something i'd like to do again, the 200m thingy. but the subsequent parts were FANTABULOUSO!! esp the game.

and they call soccer the beautiful game??!

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps, STR . Read and Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S * Ask the individual to SMILE.

T * Ask the person to TALK to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (i.e. . . It is sunny out today)

R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke. If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call 911 immediately !! and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
